Modern Crochet Bikini and Swimwear Pattern Ideas for Summer
#Ariel Bikini Top Free Pattern
Crochet bikinis! What I love most about creating bikinis (and crop tops) is how versatile they can be! You can easily add your own finishing touches to this simple swimsuit. Lace details, assorted yarns, beads, and more. Feel free to add more rows in the front for a less revealing top or none at all for a classic looking top. Today we’re going to be working on this simple swimsuit top! I recommend using cotton yarn when working on any project that might get wet (like a tea towel) as cotton is an extremely durable and breathable fiber. For this project I decided to work with Hobby Lobby’s. I love this Blue Jean yarn. I Love This Cotton is an amazingly soft yarn perfect for bikinis!
When I picked this cobalt green yarn to make my shell necklaces I brainstormed ideas of what else I could make with it because I didn’t see it in an autumn-y/ winter-y setting, and seeing it solely as a summer color I thought of the beach and cue: a bikini top. Below you have the pattern, so you can make it too!
The Ariel Bikini Top is easy in difficulty and it fits sizes S & M.
The triangles measure: 17.5cm (6.9”) center down and 17 cm (6.7”) at the widest point across.
Yarn: 30 grams of sport yarn
