If that sounds like you, you’ll be glad to know that there is another popular crochet type: the top! Even if you’re not someone who knows about crochet hooks, you can still make the top out of yarn. In this article, we’ll take a look at the different types of crochet patterns available, as well as the tools you’ll need to set yourself up for success.

It is sized for a 36 “bust and a 28” waist and a longer than average torso. Your measuring tape will be your best friend and most trusted advisor for this model; If your measurements don’t match mine, you’ll need to do some calculations to change the number of stitches.
The collar is designed to be wide and sit around the shoulders rather than on them. This is easily changed by reducing the number of stitches. If you need to change the number of stitches you throw or work on, YOU MUST ALTER THE NUMBER BY A MULTIPLE OF 8. (i.e. there are 8 increments in each row, so if you want it to be 1 row longer or shorter, you will throw 8 or 16 more stitches or 8 or 16 less, if you add / subtract 6 or 12, the stitch pattern on the shoulders will be thrown out of the box and the top will not fit properly.
