While a crop top may not be the first piece of clothing you think of when you think of crocheting a top, it’s actually a really great place to start. First, its fit means it’s quite gentle, meaning if you make a small mistake it most likely won’t change the way the top sits on your skin (or the skin of whoever you are doing it for. ).

Notting Hill is a quick and easy sweater inspired by the London neighborhood of the same name. It is knitted from a deliciously soft blend of merino, alpaca and silk, weighing DK at US 9.
Notting Hill is a completely seamless top-down knit fabric so you can try it on on the go! Short sleeves mean you won’t get stuck on sleeve island! A simple colored quilted yoke adds beauty and fun to the design. Some of my testers knitted sweaters for the first time, and they found it easy!
This pattern includes size with ready-made bust measurements from 34 to 70 inches.

A note on yarns: if you want to replace other yarns, I recommend you choose a yarn with a similar blend in DK weight, or at least a blend of merino and silk or merino and alpaca. Both memory and drapery are important for a proper fit!
